Who is the “Noir” in Noirvel?

Host, Professional Game Master, Producer, and Community Manager. Noir (he/they) is a Chicago native and lifelong creative with a penchant for rallying the people around him into action. With a unique mix of empathy and humor, Noir prides his community as one that is able to uplift others and provide a safe space for growth.

Noir’s GM style is built around honoring the choices of their players and creating cinematic moments based on player input. To them the sign of a successful game is one that leaves players talking about it well after the game is over. Noir employs music, character voices and slick word play to make those moments happen. With a heavy focus on roleplay and finding the depths of player characters, Noir encourages players to explore those depths via moral choices, and combat. To Noir, everything matters. Every item on the character sheet is a potential story telling beat and every word the players speak matters.
